UV mercury lamp conveyor curing machine adopts medium/high pressure mercury lamp as UV light source, broad spectrum 200~400nm with main peak at 365nm. Under UV irradiation, UV ink, UV varnish, UV adhesive and UV coating trigger photopolymerization reaction, liquid material cures into solid film within seconds. Mercury UV system features strong penetration for thick coating and dark pigment ink. It can run standalone or inline with printing, coating and rolling lines. Single / dual / multi lamp configuration, adjustable lamp height and conveyor speed are available. Custom width, air cooling / water cooling and ozone exhaust system are optional.
When mercury lamp is powered on, mercury vapor discharge generates broad-band ultraviolet light. Workpieces pass through UV tunnel by mesh belt. UV photons activate photoinitiator inside UV material to produce free radicals, cross-link and cure resin rapidly. Broad spectrum makes mercury lamp excellent for dark color, high loading and thick layer curing.
